Furniture should be used in dry, enclosed spaces protected from harmful atmospheric effects and direct sunlight (which contribute to changes in product shade or fading of the furniture surface and fabric).

Furniture should not be placed less than 1 m away from active heat sources (electric heaters, stoves, radiators, etc.).

Table and coffee table surfaces should be protected from direct exposure to high temperatures (hot dishes), wetting (with water – e.g., leaking vases), dampness, scratching (placing sharp objects or others, e.g., metal sculptures, metal handbag fittings), and chemically active solutions (including spilled solvents, alcohol, body care liquids). These factors can lead to damage, e.g., to the lacquer, and may cause stains, discoloration, or dulling. Coasters should be used to avoid damage.
