Do not place furniture closer than 1 meter from active heat sources (electric heaters, stoves, radiators, etc.).

Table and coffee table surfaces should be protected from direct exposure to high temperatures (hot dishes), water (e.g., leaking vases), moisture, scratches (placing sharp objects or other items, e.g., metal sculptures, metal handbag fittings), and chemically active solutions (including spilled solvents, alcohol, body care products). These factors can cause damage, such as to the lacquer, and may result in stains, discoloration, or dulling. Coasters should be used to prevent damage.
