Furniture should be used in dry, enclosed spaces, protected from harmful atmospheric conditions and direct sunlight (which can cause changes in color, fading of the furniture surface, and fading of fabric).

Furniture should not be placed less than 1 meter from active heat sources (electric heaters, stoves, radiators, etc.).

Tabletop and coffee table surfaces should be protected from direct exposure to high temperatures (hot dishes), moisture (water – e.g., leaky vases), dampness, scratches (placing sharp objects or others, e.g., metal sculptures, metal handbag fittings), and chemically active solutions (including spilled solvent, alcohol, body care liquids). These factors can cause damage, e.g., to the lacquer, and may result in stains, discoloration, or dullness. Coasters should be used to prevent damage.
