Furniture should be used in dry, enclosed spaces, protected from harmful atmospheric conditions and direct sunlight (which can cause changes in color, fading of the furniture surface, and fabric).

Furniture should not be placed less than 1 meter away from active heat sources (electric heaters, stoves, radiators, etc.).

Table and coffee table tops should be protected from direct exposure to high temperatures (hot dishes), moisture (water – e.g., leaky vases), dampness, scratches (placing sharp objects or other items, such as metal sculptures, metal handbag fittings), and chemically active solutions (including spilled solvents, alcohol, body care products). These factors can cause damage, e.g., to the lacquer, and may result in stains, discoloration, or dullness. Coasters should be used to prevent damage.
